Divisions & Jurisdiction
CMTP is the primary law enforcement agency for Lego City County's rail and bus systems. Two other groups work alongside CMTP. Here is how responsibility is divided.
City Metro Transit Police
Primary jurisdiction
CMTP is responsible for securing all of Lego City County's transit systems, including rail and bus. As the systemwide law enforcement agency, CMTP officers hold full arrest authority and jurisdiction across every train, bus, platform and transit facility City Metro operates, with more than 1,000 officers on duty across the county.
The Platform Presence Program
Systemwide initiative
Every rail station in the system now has at least two CMTP officers assigned to it. Major hubs, where multiple lines meet or ridership is highest, are staffed with at least two officers per platform, not just per station.
City Metro Transit Security
Security division
Alongside sworn transit police, City Metro operates City Metro Transit Security, a division responsible for securing City Metro events, City Metro's administrative divisions, and Union Station. Transit Security staff work in close coordination with CMTP, providing an additional layer of presence at high-traffic and high-attendance locations.

Separate agency
Felix Lego City International Airport is secured by FLX Police, a separate law enforcement agency that operates under the CMTP umbrella. FLX Police officers are the primary law enforcement presence at the airport, distinct from CMTP's rail and bus jurisdiction.
FLX Police is responsible for providing security and serves as the primary law enforcement agency for the airport, from terminal patrol and access control to responding to incidents anywhere on airport property. It is not a division of CMTP the way Transit Security is. Operating under the CMTP umbrella lets the two agencies share training standards, dispatch coordination and resources while each keeps its own jurisdiction.
Where FLX meets CMTP
At the Airport Metro Transit Center, a joint Transit/FLX Police kiosk sits right at the boundary between the rail system and the airport. CMTP handles the transit center; FLX Police takes over on airport grounds.
